About The Artist: Robert Beauchamp

Robert Beauchamp (he pronounced his name like the gum, "Beecham"), was born in 1923 in Denver, Colorado. He studied art with Boardman Robinson at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. He served three years in the Navy during World War II and then enrolled in the Cranbrook Academy. Soon after, he studied with Hans Hofmann, a highly influential teacher of modern art.
