About the artist:

A professor at the Art School of the Worcester Art Museum and also taught classes at Rutgers University. He studied at Cooper Union and at Yale University where Josef Albers was a close Mentor. He has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and the Gallery Mayer in New York City. Also the Mirski Gallery in Boston and the University of North Carolina. His paintings have been reviewed favorably in La Revue Moderne, a Paris Monthly and in the Boston Sunday Globe, New York Herald Tribune, New York Sunday Times, Arts Magazine, and the Christian Science Monitor. Had a one man show at Irving Galleries in 1960. His work during that period was influenced by Malaga, Spain.
