On a long desert plain are teepee-like structures erected in the sand.

This unique original drawing by Polish artist Wojtek Kowalczyk replaces the typical materials of these huts with the tails of rattlesnakes, all spearing out of the ground at angles and resting against each other in a single point. Within, the head of a rattlesnake pokes out.

About The Artist: Wojtek Kowalczyk

Wojtek Kowalczyk was born in 1960 in Krakow Poland. From 1979 to 1986 he studied at the Krakow Polytechnic University and graduated with a diplma in Architecture. Between 1986 and 1989 he worked at the Istiue of Preservation of Historical Monuments run by the Polytechnic University. Since 1989 Wojtek has worked as an independent artist.
