Yuri Yurov was born in Voronezh, Russia. He began his formal training as an artist at the age of 12 and finished it in The Academy of Arts in Moscow, Russia. The range of techniques he uses includes oil on wood, which allows the finest brush strokes, oil over aciylic paste - with the paste forming the relief of the surface, and many others.
