About the artist:
Born in New York City, Robert Bane attended the School of Visual Arts and used the skills acquired during his studies to open a jewelry design business. Robert Bane later relocated to Los Angeles, where he worked at Martin Lawrence Galleries for several years before opening his own fine art gallery with his wife. He helped a number of popular artists launch their careers and build reputations for excellence in the United States and overseas. Today, Robert Bane works primarily with Fabian Perez, a celebrated artist from Argentina. Through Fabian Perez Art Publishing LLC, the two have established a well-known international brand over the course of a decade. The company now distributes original art and limited editions to more than 120 galleries around the world. Perez has achieved international acclaim with works commissioned by the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 10th Annual Latin Grammys. Robert Bane has traveled around the world to curate and attend nearly 200 exhibitions in the past 10 years. In addition to galleries in art centers like Beijing, he has worked with high-end cruise lines and has developed a partnership with one of the largest art dealers in the United Kingdom, De Montfort Fine Art Ltd. He visits England two or three times a year to meet with new, rising artists and view their work. Due in part to his efforts, Fabian Perez has become one of the best-selling artists in the United Kingdom. Outside of art, Robert Bane produces and markets a number of complimentary products, including a retrospective of Perez’s art in the form of a coffee-table book, scheduled to hit shelves this fall.
